Scientific internship of doctoral students at the Tashkent Medical Academy

PhD students of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology Polukchi Tatyana Vasilyevna and Shaimerdenova Gulbanu Ganikyzy from 11th March to 25th March 2022 within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and the Tashkent Medical Academy passed a scientific internship at the Department of Infectious and Children Infectious Diseases of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

In accordance with the plan of the scientific internship, the doctoral students performed the following work: familiarization with the clinical bases of the internship (Clinical bases of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Tashkent Medical Academy: Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases), work with scientific and methodological literature in the library of the Tashkent Medical Academy in the direction of dissertation research; work with a scientific consultant to prepare scientific articles on the topic of dissertation research; attending and conducting lectures and seminars on disciplines taught by the head of the scientific internship, as well as employees of the Department of Infectious and Children Infectious Diseases of the Tashkent Medical Academy; receiving advice from a foreign scientific consultant on the main provisions of the dissertation research. During the scientific internship, 2 publications were prepared and 2 scientific articles were printed in such databases as the ССFES of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Scopus.

Upon completion of the scientific internship, PhD students Shaimerdyanova G.G. and Polukchi T.V. were awarded certificates on behalf of the Rector of the Tashkent Medical Academy, MD, Professor Shadmanov A. K.

The internship provided an opportunity to get acquainted with modern diagnostic methods, management and treatment of patients with infectious pathology of the Tashkent Medical Academy, trends, challenges and technologies in education in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The scientific internship turned out to be very effective and useful for further research activities.
