Applied bachel (Medical College)
According to the decision of the Commission for the development of the system of training specialists in nursing on March 9, 2016, an educational program of applied bachelor's degree was introduced in the specialty «Nursing» at the Medical college of «SKMA" JSC.
Work has begun on the introduction of a mentoring program in the system of training nursing specialists based on the model of the universities of applied sciences in Finland. The lists of mentors were selected and coordinated with the heads of medical organizations in Shymkent, agreements on joint activities were signed (5 contracts were signed with the city medical institutions of the Shymkent city).
Received license for educational activities: 09/06/2017. № 572.
In 6.09.2017 a reception was held on applied bachelor. Adopted by the program of applied bachelor degree-27 students (the term of study is 3 years 6 months).
In 2017, 17 nurses of clinical bases were trained as mentors:
- Regional Clinical Hospital - 4,
- Regional Children's Hospital - 4,
- Infectious Diseases Hospital - 3,
- the center of outpatient surgery, traumatology and gynecology - 3,
- the regional center of hyperbaric oxygenation named after T.O. Orynbayeva-
The educational program complies with international recommendations: The requirements of the directive (2005/36 / EY) issued by the European Parliament and Council on 7 September 2005 covering the recognition of professional qualifications. (2013/55 / EU 20 November 2013) (foreign partner - JAMK, FUAS, Finland) and the National Qualifications Framework of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 5 (higher education at the applied bachelor's level).
The educational program corresponds to the Mission and strategic objectives, are consistent with Policy in the field of quality of ST of RK ISO 9001-2015.
The Regulations on the basic principles of dual training in the system of medical education are being studied to introduce elements of dual training and the conclusion of a tripartite agreement between the faculty, medical establishments of the Shymkent city and students of applied bachelor for the provision and provision of the necessary conditions for the passage of clinical and pre-diploma practice in the workplace with subsequent employment.
Mentoring of college students is implemented by specialists in nursing of clinical bases the ratio of specialist mentor: student - 1: 5;
The number of hours of clinical practice program of an applied bachelor is 50%.
Students of the first year passed clinical practice, in the amount of 50% of the total number of hours.
Following the results of the first year students freely communicate with patients, health workers, have a good level of practical skills according to the program.
Mentors of Regional clinical hospital. 17 mentors (the senior and chief nurses)are appointed from clinic by order. The meeting of nurses has taken before practice.
