About ethics in scientific activity

From September 22 to October 14, 2022, the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy held teaching cycles for doctoral students studying under the educational programs "Medicine" and "Public Health" on ethics in scientific activity and ethics of publications.
The master class for young scientists was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Research and Development of the University of Birmingham (Dudley, UK), Honorary Professor of JSC "SKMA", rheumatologist Armen Yurievich Gasparyan. During practical classes, doctoral students got acquainted with the work of databases like Scopus and Web of Science, the search for journals, statistical data processing and the main criteria without which it is impossible to issue scientific articles.

The invited guest also discussed the possibility of doctoral students' publications in journals indexed in international databases, such as Scopus and Web of Science.
