Shymkent Marathon 2022

On 11 September 2022, activists and volunteers of the SKMA took part in a city-wide marathon. For the 5th time, Bolashak took an active part in organising this event in Shymkent.
Professional athletes and city residents took part in the sporting event. Shymkent is Kazakhstan's third city of national importance and has a certified course. A total of 170 student volunteers and SKMA staff took part in organising the marathon, with 45 students attending first aid stations. More than 1,000 people of various ages participated in the race on distances 5, 10, 21 and 42 from Al-Farabi Square to Kunayev Street.

First Deputy Mayor Shyngys Munkan thanked the citizens for their active participation in the traditional marathon and their contribution to the development of international sport.
