Scientific and practical seminar on the topic: Topical issues of early diagnosis and treatment of oncohematological diseases in children and adults"

Problems of diagnosis and treatment of hematological and oncohematological diseases in children and adults are an urgent problem in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, on September 22, 2023, the teaching staff of the Department of Pediatrics-2 of SKMA held a scientific and practical seminar in the main assembly hall on the topic: “Topical issues of early diagnosis and treatment of oncohematological diseases in children and adults.” This event was dedicated to World Leukemia Day.
The seminar was attended by practical healthcare doctors from the city of Shymkent, Turkestan region, as well as teachers, residents, and interns of the SKMA. Report of the chief freelance hematologist of the city of Shymkent Sagyndykov G.A. was devoted to the issues of diagnosis and management of oncohematological diseases. Assistant of the Department of Pediatrics-2 Uanov A.M. made presentations on the topics: “Lymphadenopathy - a separate disease or an important diagnostic symptom for various diseases”, “Diagnostics and treatment of anemia in medical practice.” At the end of the seminar there was a heated discussion of practical issues and problems of oncohematology.
