PhD internship of a doctoral student of the Department of "Technology of Medicines" at SPGHFU

PhD student of the Department of Medicine Technology Imanalieva Saltanat Marshalovna from May 22 to June 2, 2023, within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and St. Petersburg Chemical and Pharmaceutical University, completed a scientific internship at the Department of Industrial Technology of Medicines SPGHFU.
During her internship at SPGHFU, she visited the GMP training center, met with the scientific and pedagogical staff of the departments: PTLP, OCC, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical chemistry, analytical chemistry, worked in the library with access to the electronic scientific eLibrary, attended the dissertation defense for the degree of candidates of pharmaceutical sciences.
During the scientific internship at SPGHFU, the XXIV International Congress "Phytopharm 2023" was held from May 25 to 27. The congress was attended by research organizations and universities from Belarus, China, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Iran, India, USA, Switzerland, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Great Britain, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and from different regions of the Russian Federation.

In accordance with the internship program, the doctoral student and his foreign scientific consultant, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Irina E. Kaukhova, discussed the issues of the dissertation work and further joint work was discussed.
The internship provided an opportunity to get acquainted with modern technologies of drug development and is very effective and useful for further research activities of a doctoral student.
At the end of the scientific internship, the Vice-rector for International Undergraduates and Doctoral students of SPGHFU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Karasavidi A.O. presented a certificate of successful completion of the scientific internship.
