HIV/AIDS PREVENTION AND YOUTH INVOLVEMENT IN SPORTS

On April 26, 2023 a meeting on "HIV/AIDS prevention and involvement of youth in sport" organized by the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy and the Department of History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines was held in the large auditorium of the SKMA.
The meeting was attended by specialists of the Shymkent AIDS Center "Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS" Baidildaeva U.S., Abdieva, specialist of "Youth Resource Center" KMM of Shymkent city department of internal policy and youth affairs Alim Araylim Erlanovna
Odaman Meruert, a doctor of narcology at the Center of Mental Health at PCV, a sportswoman of the school of sportsmanship №3 of Shymkent, a bronze medalist of the world championship, 4-time champion of Kazakhstan, 2-time silver medalist of the world championship Aburazakova Araylym Almuhammedovna, a sportsman of the school of sportsmanship №3 of Shymkent city. Shymkent, two-time champion of Kazakhstan, silver medalist of the World Cup Alzhanov Beksultan Begzhanovich, as well as teachers of SKMA and employees of the youth policy department.
This meeting was moderated by B. S. Toltaev, Acting Associate Professor of Social Health Insurance and Public Health, who noted the purpose of the meeting.
Specialists who arrived at the meeting spoke in detail about the ways and important signs of prevention of HIV/AIDS and drug and alcohol addiction among the population. The students received answers to topical questions and became acquainted with new data. In order to detect AIDS, students-volunteers received an express test.
Summing up the event, the bronze medalist of the World Championship, 4-time champion of Kazakhstan, 2-time silver medalist of the World Championship Aburazakova Araylym Almukhammedovna urged students to avoid bad habits and do sports.
