FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES OF STUDENTS ON THE BASIS OF THE TASHKENT PHARMACEUTICAL INSTITUTE
The internship "Quality control and standardization of medicines" to consolidate professional skills and abilities was held on the basis of the Department of Standardization and Quality Management of Medicines (PM) at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (TashFarmI) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the curriculum and work practice schedule, student interns completed work in the field of drug analysis. The trainees got acquainted with the activities of the State Unitary Enterprise "State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Devices and Mt" under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the duties of a pharmacist-analyst, with regulatory documentation regulating quality control and standardization of medicines in the republic.
Students conducted general analyzes of the physical, chemical and physico-chemical properties of dosage forms (tablets, capsules, ointments, injections and herbal raw materials) for all quality indicators, in accordance with pharmacopoeial methods. The students also analyzed drugs using the following methods: high-performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, IR spectroscopy, refractometry, polarimetry, spectrophotometry in the UV and visible regions of the spectrum, titrimetry (complexometry, iodometry, nitritemetry, etc.). A pharmacopoeial analysis of substances and medicinal products of industrial production was carried out in terms of quality indicators in accordance with the requirements of the Global Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan I, II editions, as well as AND, VAND manufacturers.
In addition, the trainees had an excursion to the pharmaceutical companies "Nobel Pharmsanoat" and the state of emergency "ZIYO NUR FARM" (Tashkent), where the students got acquainted with the structure of the factories, with the organization of the work of the departments for receiving, storing active pharmaceutical substances and the quality control departments of drugs.
An intensive and exciting cultural program of the practice included visiting the sights of the city of Tashkent and a sightseeing trip to the city of Samarkand, where unique historical sites are located: Registan Square, the Shakhi-Zinda complex, the Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the Bibi-Khanum mosque, etc.
