Academic mobility of the Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases NAO "Medical University of Astana"

Academic mobility of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Kulzhanova Sh.A. in terms of 25.12.2023-29.12.2023 was carried out within the framework of establishing internal inter-university integration ties, promoting the exchange of best practices in educational activities, improving professional competencies and increasing the competitiveness of teaching staff in the market of educational services. During the academic mobility program lectures were delivered and practical classes were held for the 1st and 2nd year residents in the specialty "Infectious Diseases Adult, Child". In addition, a seminar on "Measles at the present stage" was held for residents, interns of the department, as well as participation as a jury at the Olympiad of bachelors "Infection’s Stars". During the educational process, Professor Kulzhanova Sh.A. applied innovative teaching methods (Lecture-discussion, consilium, SP – standart patient, defense of clinical case, etc.). In the basis of training in SKMA is an effective system of medical and pharmaceutical education, focused on the training of specialists demanded by practical health care. Together with the residents, Professor from MUA conducted examination, consultation of patients in the Department of Reanimation and Intensive Care, Shymkent City Infectious Diseases Hospital, discussed the analysis of infectious morbidity, as well as participation in topical educational seminars: "Measles at the present stage", "Modern views on the diagnosis and therapy of infectious mononucleosis", "Clinic, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious toxic, septic shock", organized by the management of Shymkent City Infectious Diseases Hospital.
