Round table dedicated to the 135th anniversary of S. Asfendiyarov

On April 17, 2024, a round table dedicated to the 135th anniversary of S. Asfendiyarov was organized at the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Disciplines.
The purpose of the round table is to learn about the creative path of S.Zh. Asfendiyarov, an outstanding statesman and public figure, a talented scientist-historian, teacher, professor of medicine, to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism and social responsibility.
During the round table, the head of the department “History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines” Zh.O. Nurzhanbaeva and senior teacher A.S. Erkinbekova spoke about the contribution of S.Zh. Asfendiyarov to domestic science.
1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Medicine took an active part in the round table, and N. Erden made a substantive report on the topic “The Historical Heritage of S. Asfendiyarov.” A. Amze read M. Zhumabaev’s poem “Men Zhastarga Senemin”.
1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy took an active part in the round table: Erden N. made a meaningful report on the topic “Historical Heritage of S. Asfendiyarov”, Musakhan A. and Alaidar B. - “S. Asfendiyarov as the founder of medicine." Students A. Malikova, A. Pasha, Zh. Bekzhanova, K. Basymbek, Zh. Bekzhanova also presented their works.
At the end of the round table, the head of the department “History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines” Nurzhanbaeva Zh.O. summed up the results, expressed gratitude to the archive staff for their constant cooperation and thanked the students for their activity and creativity.
The event was held in the process of exchanging views on current issues within the framework of the topic. Students of the Faculty of Medicine Akkoshov, E. Khasan, I. Radzhabov, N. Adkhambek actively participated in the discussion of this topic.
At the end of the round table, the head of the department “History of Kazakhstan and social subjects” Nurzhanbaeva Zh.O. thanked the teachers and students and awarded the students with a letter of gratitude for their activity and creativity.
