YOUNG SCIENTISTS AND STUDENTS OF KAZAKHSTAN AND THE CIS COUNTRIES HELD THE BIGGEST EVENT OF THE EXPIRING YEAR FOR THE THIRD TIME WITHIN THE WALLS OF SKSPhA
For the third time South- Kazakhstan State Pharmaceutical Academy hosted the biggest event of the expiring year - International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students “Prospects for the development of Biology, Medicine and Pharmacy”, initiated in collaboration with the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation.
The conference was opened by B.K. Nurmashev, Vice-rector of scientific and clinical work, who noted that the conference was attended by young scientists and students from: Nazarbayev University; JSC “Astana Medical University”; KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov; Karaganda State Medical University; Medical University of Semey, High School of Public Health; International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Kh.A.Yassavi, Turkestan; West – Kazakhstan State Medical University named after Marat Ospanov, Aktobe and also the leading medical universities of St. Petersburg, Bishkek, Rostov on Don.
Rosa Makashevna Yedigeeva, the representative of the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan- Leader of the Nation; Aynur Zharmukhambetovna Akhmetova, a research officer of the Center for Life Sciences of Nazarbayev University; Anton Aleksandrovich Nizhnikov, an academic secretary of the Vavilov Society of Geneticists and Plant Breeders of St. Petersburg State University (Russia); Elnura Talaybekova, a research officer of Research Institute of Molecular Biology and Medicine at the National Center of Space Research and Technologies of Kyrgyzstan.
Then there was held a plenary session with the report presentation of: A.B. Molkenov (Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan); A.M. Talgatbek (International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Kh.A.Yassavi, Turkestan); E.T. Talaybekova (Research Institute of Molecular Biology and Medicine, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan); A.A. Mamekova (SKSPhA, Shymkent, Kazakhstan); D. Romanov (Rostov – on – Don, Russia).
The conference consisted of 10 sections in two parts: “Biological sciences and health” and “Current issues of pharmacy”. The best reports were awarded prizes.
The younger scientific community of Kazakhstan and the CIS countries has been discussed topical areas of modern research for two days, and also it was planned the ways for their further development.
Every year the geography of participants who sent their scientific works, is expanding. Over the past three years we have developed strong contacts with universities in Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and abroad. Among them: First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov, Belarusian State Medical University (Minsk); National Pharmaceutical University (Kharkov, Ukraine); Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Tashkent, Uzbekistan); Kyrgyz State Pharmaceutical Academy (Bishkek); Institute of Physiology named after L.A.Orbeli of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (Yerevan); Institute of Medical Microbiology, University of Zurich (Germany); Center for Medical Research, Medical University of Graz, Graz, Austria; Columbia University (New York, USA), “National Science Cardiac Surgery Center”, National Medical Holding Company (Astana, Kazakhstan); Yaroslavl State University named after P.G. Demidov (Yaroslavl, Russia); Tyumen State Medical University (Tyumen, Russia); Kharkov National University named after V.N. Karazin (Department of quantum radiophysics, Kharkov, Ukraine); Bashkir State Medical University of “The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Ufa, Russia); Odessa National Medical University (Odessa, Ukraine); South Ural State Medical University (Chelyabinsk); Kharkov Medical Academy of postgraduate education (Kharkov, Ukraine); State Research Center of medicines and medical devices (Kharkov, Ukraine); Donetsk National University (Donetsk); Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyev (Astana); Research Institute of Molecular Biology and Medicine at the National Center of Space Research and Technologies (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan); City hospital №1 (Pavlodar) and medical institutions of Shymkent and South-Kazakhstan region.
Over 300 articles and abstracts were received in the e-mail address of the conference. This again emphasizes the importance of continuity of scientific schools in universities and research institutes of Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Economic Union.
The conference will also focus on strengthening cooperation and mutually beneficial cooperation between young scientists of Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to the conference materials there was prepared the collection of scientific papers of young scientists and students.
All participants received certificates.
In December 9, 2015 at 15.00 of local time on the communication platform G-global South-Kazakhstan State Pharmaceutical Academy initiated “online” video conference with young scientists and students from the Center for Life Sciences; National Laboratory of Astana; Nazarbayev University; St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg, the Russian Federation); Research Institute of Molecular Biology and Medicine at the National Center of Space Research and Technologies (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).
