Work of the section "natural medicines and prospects for their use" at the ix international conference

On December 8-9, 2022, the IX international scientific conference of young scientists and students "Prospects for the development of Biology, Medicine and Pharmacy" was held in offline and online formats at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. The organizers of the conference are the Council for Science under the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation and the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy together with the Abuali Ibni Sino Tajik State Medical University. The conference gathered a large number of positive reviews from universities and higher educational institutions of the CIS countries and neighboring countries.

The staff of the Department of Pharmacognosy conducted the work of the sectional meeting "Natural medicines and prospects for their use." The section received 85 scientific articles and abstracts submitted by leading universities: Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

In conference attended young scientists from different countries who are interested in science and express great hopes. These are young scientists from universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and our partner universities - Pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute (Pyatigorsk, RF), Bashkir State Medical University (Ufa, RF), Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Tashkent, UZ), A.A. Bogomolets National Medical University (Kyiv, Ukraine), Novosibirsk State Medical University (Novosibirsk, RF), I.K. Akhunbayeva Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic), I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (Moscow, Russian Federation), A.P. Nelyubina Institute of Pharmacy. (Moscow, Russian Federation), Kursk State Medical University (Kursk, Russian Federation), State Humanitarian and Technological University (Moscow Region, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Russian Federation), etc.

At the sectional meeting, students of the scientific circle of the «Phytochemist», undergraduates, doctoral students and students, graduate students from partner universities spoke on topical issues of pharmaceutical science. Also, project-oriented learning students published articles on their projects and made presentations at the breakout session.

The reports of students, young scientists and foreign graduate students made at a high level. The content of their report on topics was so interesting and comprehensive that it caused a heated discussion among the listeners. High-level speakers, presenting the results of research work, answered all the questions raised, touching on important issues and complex problems in the field of modern pharmacy. High-level presentations made online by students, graduate students of foreign partner universities. They managed to establish a quality relationship with the audience.

Also, as a guest in other regions in the section, students of the Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University and students of the 11th grade of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School made presentations at a high level on their project work, the scientific work of which aroused the interest of the chairmen and listeners at the sectional meeting.

As a result of the conference, all participants of the conference were awarded certificates.
The best speakers for the youth competition among students, undergraduates, graduate students and doctoral students were determined. They were awarded honorary diplomas and memorable gifts:
1) The best work of young scientists - Nurgaleev Rishat Salavatovich, master student of 1st year of study, Russia, Ufa, "Bashkir State Medical University"
2) The best work of a student - Raimova Kyzzhibek, 3rd year student of the educational program "Pharmacy" of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.

The conference participants were satisfied and thanked the organizers for the excellent opportunity to express their opinion on important topics of pharmacy. It is safe to say that the annual international conference at the academy held at a high level and helped the participants to plunge into the research world.
