When the second breath opens. Or how was “The day of elderly people” held in the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy?

The administration of the South Kazakhstan medical academy set holiday dastarkhan for veterans of labor devoted to the international day of elderly people. 

The rector Myrzabek Myrzashevich Rysbekov made a speech about the history of the Day, about respect of young people to the elderly, about leading scientists of the higher education institution who are on-stream despite of their age. He congratulated all attendees on the holiday, noted that this event should be traditional and extraordinary next year when celebrations on the occasion of 40-year anniversary from the date of formation of higher education institution will be held. The chief executive officer wished all attendees good health, courage and prosperity.

Professors as D.S. Seksenbayev, E. Bekmuratov, G.A. Dushchanova, N.Zh. Ormanov (the chairman of the board of veterans), B.A. Sagindykova, O.К. Kulakeev, Yu.M. Musayev, K.E. Sisabekov, associate professors as B.O. Torlanova, B.Zh. Kolbayeva, K. Zh. Kudabayev, A.A. Aldeshev, the teacher of Latin A.N. Kasymbekova, the chief engineer E. Ordabekuly and etc. told about training of specialists for medicine and health care of Kazakhstan by senior generation, about an opportunity to meet in the academy, about acquiring classical medical education, about spiritual health of not only elderly people and also about the second breath after leaving and about the most noble profession on the earth. 

The board of veterans of SKMA has been operating for several years. The organization tries to capture all who went to deserved rest, who is old, needs medical care and support from the former fellow workers.

As professor G.A. Dushchanova noted, WHO urges to refer elderly people to the senior working-age as they still work and try to make a contribution to economy of the country. And what is important, in one of the days the holiday coincides with the doctor’s international day. What is important: a doctor - it sounds proudly. 

Being the head of the department of neurology of higher education institution for 25 years, G.A. Dushchanova brought up high-class specialized professionals. At the end of her speech she expressed gratitude to the administration for an organized event.
