VI Central Asian International Scientific and Practical Conference

On April 20-21, 2023, the VI Central Asian International Scientific and Practical Conference on Medical Education "Education of the Future: Wind of Change" was held at the Medical University of Karaganda.
The purpose of the conference is the development of international cooperation, strategic partnership and the transfer of experience in medical education. Representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, experts, heads of educational organizations, scientists, teachers and students of universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Georgia, Germany, France, India, and the USA took part in it.
The head of the department of "Emergency Medical Care and Nursing" Seidakhmetova Aizat Ashimkhanovna took part in an online format in the Session: "Prospects for Education in Medicine and Nursing" with a report: "Application of student-centered teaching and assessment methods."

The directions of the conference included: strategic partnership; digital transformation of education and digital medicine; internationalization of education; university autonomy and academic freedom; prospects for education in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and nursing; integration of clinic, science, education; simulations in education.
The conference included an exhibition of books, medical products, simulation simulators and dummies, a round table "Problems and prospects for training specialists in residency", a poster session for young scientists, an online SimLab competition for developing clinical scenarios, an international student Olympiad, and a student conference on pharmacy.
