Upgrades of professional competency of a pharmacist-analyst

“Quality control and drug certification” internship took place at the base of the department of pharmaceutical chemistry, Bashkir state medical university (BSMU) and at the Republican center of quality control and drug certification of the Bashkir Republic. The dates of internship were 11.05.2015-27.05.2015.

According to the program and schedule of the internship the students carried out works in field of pharmaceutical analysis of drugs.

When doing the internship the students got familiar with the activities of the Republican center of quality control and drug certification of the Bashkir Republic, as well as all the duties, normative documents that regulate the quality control and drug certification of the Russian Federation.

The students carried out general pharmacopeia methods of physical, chemical and physical-chemical analysis of dosage forms (tablets, capsules, liniments, solutions for injection and medicinal plants) by all properties.

The students attended the master-classes of such important topics as element analysis, nitrogen analysis in organic compounds by Kjeldal, instrumental methods of analysis, water determination by Fisher.

Cultural experience was rich. The students were at the Russian drama theatre, Bashkir academic theatre named after Gafuri, Salavat Iulaev park, Victory park and many many other places. The students organized “Kazakhstan Day” for the stuff and the students of the university.
