“Training outcomes and key competencies in the development of educational programs”

On March 31, 2016 there was held a videoconference on the communicative platform “G-global” organized by clinical departments of SKSPhA. The guests of the conference were Zhetmekova Z. T. and Orynbasarova B. A., the faculty of the Department “Propaedeutics of internal diseases” of State Medical University of Semey.

In accordance with State Program of Education Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020 there were set the following goals: to improve the relationship with the labor market; to improve the competencies of graduates; to update the content, methodologies and appropriate learning environment. The module programs based on competencies  contribute to solving these problems.

In this regard, the goal of this conference was to consider the ways to improve educational programs according to the specialties “Nursing”, “Public Health”, on the discipline “Epidemiology” in master’s  program as well as in a internship.

There were discussed the roles of key competencies and training outcomes in educational programs. Presentations were made by the heads of clinical departments - G.N. Abuova, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Acting Professor; Associate Professors - A.A. Seydakhmetova and N.V. Yugay. After each presentation, the guests asked questions and received irrefragable answers. The employees expressed their gratitude for the information obtained during this conference. The organizers of the conference, in their turn, expressed their gratitude to the colleagues from Semey for collaboration and further cooperation with the  SKSPhA.
