The week “The future of Kazakhstan is in Kazakh language”

From September, 18 to September, 22 2015 the Department of Kazakh and Latin languages organized the week “The future of Kazakhstan is in Kazakh language” dedicated to the Day of languages of Kazakhstan people.

09.18. 2015 – the best poster contest “The most valuable thing for the people is their language”;

09.20. 2015 – the composition contest “The eternal nation life is in his language”;

09.21. 2015 – the dramatic reading contest “Language is the bond of friendship”

09.22. 2015 - The final evening.

For the contest “The eternal nation life is in his language” faculty groups drew posters which presented written poems and various statements of great people. During the dramatic reading contest “Language is the bond of friendship” students recited their poems and extracts of poet works devoted to the language theme. 

The week was interesting and exciting. All participants demonstrated their good knowledge, excellent training. Results of the week were announced step by step, the winners were awarded by diplomas of I, II, III degrees and letters of appreciation.

As it was noted by the President Nursultan Nazarbayev, “official language should be the foundation of national policy”. Since Kazakhstan gained independence, it pays special attention to the development of official language.

The Languages Day is one of the most important holidays for all of us and the whole country. “Honor to the language means honor to the nation” - with this aim for the future we must strengthen the status of official language, expanding its spreading, labour for the benefit of our Motherland.
