The use of artificial intelligence in education: opportunities and problems

On March 14, 2024, a methodological seminar was held on the topic “The use of artificial intelligence in education: opportunities and problems” with the participation of teaching staff of the departments of “Social and humanitarian disciplines” and “History of Kazakhstan and socio-public disciplines” and specialists from the educational and methodological center (UMC). Heads of departments Ashirov A.Sh. and Nurzhanbaeva Zh.O. made an opening speech, focusing on the relevance of the topic, on the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in the process of education and intellectual activity. At the seminar were heard the reports of senior lecturer Abdrasilova S.T. on the topic “Use of artificial intelligence in education: opportunities and threats” and senior teacher Utegenov B.Kh. on the topic “Implementation of interaction between a teacher and artificial intelligence in the educational process.” Chief specialist of the educational and methodological center (UMC) Rasheva B.M. and teachers of the departments asked questions on topics that interested them, as a result of which lively discussions took place at the methodological seminar.
