THE PRACTICE OF STUDENTS OF SAMARKAND STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY ON THE BASIS OF KASKASU ON ACADEMIC MOBILITY

In the period from 06.17.2024 to 06.28.2024, 3rd year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Samarkand State Medical University completed an internship at Kaskasu on academic mobility.

Under the guidance of Assistant Professor of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Technology E.S. Boymurodov and head of the Kaskasu base.

During the internship, students got acquainted with the types of medicinal plants growing in the flora of the Turkestan region on the basis of Kaskasu and compiled a floral list of medicinal plants.
In the early days, the students climbed the Kaskasa Mountains with the students of the academy, where they got acquainted with wild, poisonous and cultivated medicinal plants.
The purpose of the practice is to consolidate and deepen knowledge about wild and cultivated medicinal plants, to form knowledge and improve practical skills on the procurement, storage and processing of medicinal plant raw materials with justification for the use of medicinal plant products and the protection of resources.

The students were introduced to the growing season, the family and the life form of plants, improved the skills of identifying medicinal plants in the wild by their morphological characteristics.
Acquired the following skills: conducting primary processing, drying and labeling of plant raw materials, conducting pharmacognostic analysis of medicinal plant raw materials, packaging, labeling and transportation of medicinal plant raw materials.

During the internship, the students took part in the competition "My practical skills", competing with the students of UCMA. The competition was held at the Kaskasu base, where they showed their best side. They showed their theoretical and practical skills at the highest level and took 1st place.

We held the "Day of Uzbekistan", where a table with national dishes was set. They were introduced to the traditions and history of Uzbek cuisine.

As part of the cultural program, the students visited the historical city and the capital of all Turkic countries - the city of Turkestan, where they got acquainted with the sights and historical buildings. We tasted traditional dishes and learned the great history of the Kazakh people.

According to the results of the internship, the students of SamSMU showed that their practical and theoretical knowledge has improved and they can apply the new knowledge they have gained in practice.

On behalf of the rector of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy M.M.Rysbekov, the students were awarded certificates for completing an internship in academic mobility.
