The memorandum between TSMU Tajikistan and SKMA Kazakhstan is bearing fruit

From 20.06.2022 to 01.07.2022, under the guidance of Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacognosy, PhD, Yerkebulan Kuandykovich Orazbekov and with 3rd-year students of the SKMA Faculty of Pharmacy: Mamyrkhan Akzhan, Alibekova Adina, Kaukanova Aruzhan, Nurgaliyeva Assel, Latipov Oruch passed practical training on the basis of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Organization of Pharmacy Economics of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibni Sino.
The practical training took place in the Botanical Garden of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, as well as in the gorges of Kondar, the Ramit State Nature Reserve, the gorge of the Harangon River, Siema and in the Varzob districts.
During the practical work, the staff and students of the two states not only fulfilled the work plan and got acquainted with the flora and fauna of Tajikistan, but also consolidated scientific-oriented relations in the field of scientific research of medicinal facilities.

An international scientific conference was held between young scientists and students of the two countries with reports on the topic "Medicinal plants and their role in phytotherapy of metabolic syndrome" with an introduction to student scientific works of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan in the field of medicinal plant research.

The staff of the Department of Pharmacognosy of SKMA headed by Orynbasarova K. K. and students express their sincere gratitude to the management of the Academy for providing this opportunity.
