The meeting with heroes of the Great Victory

On the eve of Victory Day celebrations, in April 29 the 5^th year students of curator groups of Pharmacy Faculty together with teachers of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry and chairman of student union committee Baymbetova B.S. visited veterans of the Great Patriotic War and congratulated on the remarkable date, the 70^th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Professor of the Department Sopbekova A.O. congratulated veterans Zhandarbekov A., Torekhanov B., Irismetov B. and in her speech expressed that our generation had a unique opportunity to meet with veterans and we should be proud of patriotism, heroism of our compatriots, who immortalized their name, nation and Kazakhstan in general in world history.

Students communicated with veterans with great respect and interest, questioned them about the realities of war, looked upon medals with special trepidation. War veterans have a lot of battle honors and awards, which they were presented in peacetime for their fruitful work.

Listening to the stories of the heroes, students brought tears in the eyes, they could not be quiet, listening memories of war veterans.

It was very interesting to listen to the heroes of the great experiences that have passed the roads of war, and stages of economic redevelopment in the post-war years, they made a great contribution to the development of science and industry of the country, education and specialist training.

The students activists planted fruit trees in gardens, helped with the housework: cultivated and prepared ground for planting. Interns held a consultation on relevant issues and made written recommendations for the improvement of health.

At the end of the meeting, activists asked their questions, and the heroes answered, inspiring everyone to new victories.
