The Department of “Microbiology, Virology and Immunology” together with the 2nd City Hospital of Shymkent, organized and conducted a master class on September 24, 2023 on the topic: "Hereditary Angioedema. Innovations of modern treatment".
Purpose of the master class: Familiarization with modern treatment and methods of hereditary angioneurosis.
The master class was organized by the head of the Department of “Microbiology, Virology and Immunology” Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor B.T. Seytkhanova and head of the department of “Allergology and Pulmonology” of City Hospital No. 2 of Shymkent, allergist of Baidildaeva Gulsim Musrepovna , as well as allergist of the highest category Zhanzhigitova Zhanat Tolebaevna
The moderators of the master class were the head of the department of “Microbiology, Virology and Immunology”, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Seytkhanova B.T. and head of the department of “Allergology and Pulmonology” of City Hospital No. 2 of Shymkent, allergist of the highest category Baidildaeva Gulsim Musrepovna .
The master class was attended by an allergist, a dermatologist, a GD, a therapist, a surgeon, an otolaryngologist, a gynecologist, a gastroenterologist, and emergency doctors.
The master class consisted of 2 stages: at the 1st stage, participants , divided into 5 subgroups, solved situational problems. The participant who completed the situational task of the 2nd stage demonstrated symptoms of clinical attacks in angioneurosis. At the end of the master class, in order to fully consolidate the information received, a short online test was conducted using the Kahoot program , consisting of 13 questions. Based on the results of test answers , participants who answered all questions quickly and correctly were awarded the appropriate places. At the end of the master class, participants and listeners were awarded certificates.
