“The key directions of modern training of medical personnel”

On December 11, 2015 in the South-Kazakhstan state pharmaceutical academy there was held a "round table" on “The key directions of modern training of medical personnel” with the participation of leaders of healthcare organizations of Shymkent city and region. 

In speeches of academy representatives issues of effective cooperation between university and employers of  medical education and practical healthcare are raised. 

The head of Department of internships and employment of graduates, associate professor B. K. Dosybayev presented a model of successful cooperation of the Department of Pediatrics and regional child clinical hospital. 

The prospects of medical training was outlined in report of the head of the Department of primary healthcare with the course of obstetrics and gynecology, associate professor N.Yugay. In addition to the report the doctor-expert of municipal hospital №8 of Shymkent E. V.Kazantseva made a speech stressing the need for increased training on ethics, psychology and the provision of patient-centered care in primary healthcare.

The need of harmonisation of the content of elective courses, modular educational programs and training modules for students of bachelor and master degree of the major "Public health" in accordance with the modern trend of creation and development of the public health system in Kazakhstan was marked in the performance of acting head of the Department "Public health-1", candidate of medical sciences F. T.Doskarayeva.

To develop cooperation of employers in the sphere of sanitary-and-epidemiologic inspection with core departments of major "Medical and preventive care" and "Public health" is planned by the Department of "Hygiene-1,2". This direction of training personnel was pronounced by head of the Department "Hygiene-1", the Dean of the medical faculty B.Z.Doltaeva.

In the discussions the head physician of the regional cardiology center S. B.Bekzhigitov, the head physician of regional blood center S.A.Rakhimberdiyev, deputy head physician of RCHO named after Orynbayev I.T.Toleyev representatives of the Committee on the rights of protection of the rights of consumers and other participants of the "round table" are participated. 

Representatives of practical healthcare outlined the importance of close interaction with departments of the university in the training of medical personnel and the implementation of priority directions of healthcare development within the next years.
