The electronic library of JSC «SKMA»

In connection with the introduction of modern technical means, the educational environment is radically changing, which has led to a qualitative change in the development of education.
Currently, it is relevant to create electronic libraries, which are an information system that ensures the storage of documents in electronic form.
The leading engineer of the Department of Distance educational technologies        Zhanatov E.N. developed the project «Electronic Library».
The main purpose of this project is to develop a unified electronic library database that provides storage organization, as well as providing users with access to information resources.
The use of electronic libraries has a number of potential advantages:
− obtaining the necessary information, regardless of location, with access to the network
− efficiency of providing data through authorized search, without the use of paper cards
− provide an opportunity to share any information, which greatly simplifies the expensive task of physically duplicating little-used materials, and also provides access to a unique document, which previously required you to come to the library where it is located.

Teaching aids, textbooks developed at the departments, reviewed and approved by the methodological and academic Council, are converted into an electronic interactive format, with the help of specialists of the Department of Distance Educational Technologies. The converted editions are transferred to the Library and Information Center and uploaded to the developed electronic library of the Academy.
Electronic versions of educational materials are widely used in educational practice. The active use of the Academy's «Electronic Library» in the educational process, we are sure, will lead to a significant increase in the quality of education.
The completed project of the «Electronic Library» is posted on the official website of the Academy in the section distance learning https://e-lib.skma.edu.kz/genres. For the convenience of users, both computer and mobile versions of the application have been developed, hosted in the Play market and App store.
