The discussion “Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease”

On March 12-14, 2016 there was held the discussion for the 5^th, the 2^nd and the 1^st- year students on the theme “Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease”. The event was organized in cooperation with the Center of healthy lifestyle development of South - Kazakhstan region and the Youth Health Center of SKSPhA. The discussion was held at the Department “Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychology” to prevent tuberculosis.

The discussion was attended by the 5^th year students of the major “Public health” (1 boy and 21girls). It was presented 2 reports according to the theme of the discussion, and then, they were discussed.

Closing speech was made by G.A. Duschanova, the Head of the Department “Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychology”: “The variety of clinical aspects of tuberculosis determines not only the pathogen. The important role is played by the condition of patient’s body, its reactivity and resistance, which may be reduced under various adverse conditions of work and life, and etc. We want you to be resistant to tuberculosis”.   

At the end of this event, the students were given leaflets.
