The DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY, VIROLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY held the III International Conference of Young Scientists and Students "World AIDS Day"

On December 1, 2023, the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology organized the III International Conference of Young Scientists, Students, residents in a hybrid format on the theme "December 1 – World AIDS Day". The conference was attended by the State Committee for the Prevention and Control of AIDS
Department of Health of the city of Shymkent Epidemiologist of the highest category Abdieva Fatima Tynyshtykbayevna, Head of the anti-plague station of the Shymkent city Ratbek Sailaubekovich, Head of the Department of Scientific and Clinical work, doctoral and Master's degree-Zhaksylyk Alikhan Altynkhanovich, head of the Department of Therapeutic and Pediatric Dentistry and chairman of the EPC "Dentistry" PhD Kenbaeva Laura Omarkhanovna.
An epidemiologist of the highest category. Fatima Abdieva Tynyshtykbaevna shared the statistical analysis of “HIV patients/AIDS” in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Shymkent. Specialists of the “Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS” shared information with students about the ways of HIV transmission/AIDS, disease prevention, information booklets were distributed, and rapid testing of the conference guests was conducted.
The moderator of the conference was the head of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of JSC “South Kazakhstan Medical Academy” Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Seitkhanova Bibigul Tolegenovna.
Foreign and local students, residents of the branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy of Urgench, the Medical University of Karaganda, JSC "South Kazakhstan Medical Academy" took part in the conference as speakers.

The winner of the "I place" Mutalibkhonov Sarvarkhon Ileskhanovich is a 2nd year student of the branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy in Urgench.

The winners of the "II place": Budzevich Valentina Vladimirovna, Kablashev Aron Muratovich students of the 4th and 3rd courses in the specialty "General Medicine". Karaganda Medical University
Ibisheva Feyziya Muradovna is a 2nd year student of JSC South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, specializing in Dentistry.

The winners of the "III place": Tuzelbekova Aizhan Maulenovna, Zhylkybai Aidana Toylybaevna 1st year residents of the educational program "allergology and immunology of adults and children" JSC "South Kazakhstan Medical Academy".
