The best future pediatrician

The profession of a pediatrician is a wonderful profession that requires great responsibility, patience and love for one’s work. A pediatrician is a mediator of a child’s soul, a researcher of a child’s soul, a guide, a fortress. Choosing a medical profession that intervenes in the life of a child carries great responsibility.
02/16/2024 at the Department of Pediatrics-2, an intellectual game “The best future pediatrician” was held with 3rd year pediatric students. During the game, medical questions were asked in order to determine the level of education of future pediatricians. The intellectual game consisted of 5 stages.
1. During the introductory period, students were introduced to the name of their group, its meaning and purpose.
2. Answered questions worth 10, 20, 30 points during the question and answer period.
3. During the test questions period, each group was given a test and discussed.
4. During the period of situational reports, questions based on the clinical situation were discussed in group work, a preliminary diagnosis was made and answers to questions were given.
5. Demonstrated practical skills during the OSCE period.
The students were assessed by the teaching staff of Pediatrics-2. According to the result,
1st place – group PK-02-21;
II place – group PO-03-21;
III place - group PKB-01-21.
The winners of the pediatric groups were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees. A special prize was awarded for 1st place.
