On October 11, 2023, the Department of Social Affairs and Youth Policy held a large-scale meeting for students on the theme of an hour of honesty about the role of youth in combating corruption, fighting drug addiction, improving financial literacy, prevention of destructive religious movements and the harm of gambling addiction. The event was moderated by Nurgali Alikhanovich Pernebaev, Compliance Officer of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, who introduced the invited guests.
The meeting was attended by the following persons: Perakhanova Perazat Umirzakovna, a doctor-drug addict of the Center for Mental Health of Shymkent city, Major Karbekov Bauyrzhan Kanatovich, a senior operative commissioner on especially important cases of the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the Police Department of Shymkent city, a specialist-theologian of the KSU "Center for Research of Religious Problems" of the Department for Religious Affairs of Shymkent city, Tilyabek Sayan Adnabekovich Tilyabek.

The goal of the event is to widely involve young people in the formation of anti-corruption culture, involving them in personal self-development, patriotism, integrity and labor sports.
Further, the specialists told about the work carried out on prevention of corruption factors, about universal human values, honesty, integrity, about ways and important signs of prevention of HIV/AIDS and drug addiction, gambling addiction, alcoholism among the population, about methods of prevention of destructive religious movements and contrarian movements. Video clips on the mentioned topics were also demonstrated.
Summarizing the results of the event, the moderator, compliance officer of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy Pernebaev Nurgali Alikhanovich called on students to adhere to the principles of integrity and honesty and to work on the active involvement of the younger generation in the work on the formation of zero tolerance to any offenses, promoting the principles of integrity.
