STUDENTS OF JSC "SKMA" RECEIVED PRIZE PLACES AT THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE HELD AT THE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF KARAGANDY

On April 13th and 14th 2023, our students won prize places at the international student scientific and practical conference "Pharmacy - moving forward!", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the School of Pharmacy at the Karagandy Medical University, as part of the VI Central Asian International Scientific and Practical conferences. The conference was held among medical universities of the republic.
Students from different countries who are interested in science and express great hopes attended to the conference. These are young scientists from universities - "Kursk State Medical University" (Kursk, RF), "Academician I.P. Pavlov Ryazan State Medical University" (Moscow, RF), "Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute" (Tashkent, TPI), "Abuali Ibni Sino Tajik State Medical University" (Republic of Tajikistan), "Bashkir State Medical University" (Ufa, RF), "St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University" (St. Petersburg, RF), Smolensk State Medical University (Smolensk, RF), etc.
The aim of the conference is to involve students in research activities, exchange of experience and establish cooperation. From our SKMA to this conference attended two participants they are 3rd year students of the educational program "Pharmacy", members of the student scientific circle "Phytochemist" of the Department of Pharmacognosy, and also study according to the project-oriented teaching method.

They spoke at a student scientific and practical conference with the results of projects in the areas of project-based learning.
Serikbayeva Merey from PKB-01-20 group student presented her work "Phytochemical study of the leaves of Sage Muscat" and was awarded a diploma of the 2nd degree. A student of the group PKB-02-20 Raimova Kyzzhibek presented her work on the topic "Pharmacognostical study of the Water Mint (Mentha aquatica)", and was awarded a diploma of the 3rd degree.
