Staff mobility for training to the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy

During the period from May16th to May 20th, 2022 employees of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy: Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapy and Clinical Pharmacology Zh.S.Toxanbayeva and deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacognosy R.A.Kozykeyeva visited Julius Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA 107 program.
The overall goal of mobility is to learn from the experience and best practices of the partner university, exchange professional experience and develop skills in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, strengthen contacts with the host educational institution, its teaching staff to expand cooperation between institutions.
During the business trip, they visited the university campus, laboratories of Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Botany, Pharmacognosy, Analytical Chemistry, Toxicology, Cosmetology and Dermatology. We got acquainted with the work of the Biobase and the maintenance of animals in a vivarium, made an excursion to the Botanical Garden and the Museum of Herbariums of Rare and foreign plants, observed aspects of the curriculum and the formulation of the educational process in the disciplines: Pharmaceutical Botany, Molecular genetics and genetic engineering, Pharmacognosy. During the implementation of the program, Zh.S.Toxanbayeva read a lecture, and R.A.Kozykeyeva conducted a practical lesson on Pharmacognosy.

As a result of the visit, a preliminary agreement was reached on the exchange of students of different levels of study and prospects for further scientific cooperation in the field of development, phytochemical and preclinical research of phytopreparations were outlined.
