Spring equinox - a holiday of harmony and peace

On the day of the vernal equinox, spring crowds out winter and fully comes into its own - it is on this special day that the bright holiday of Nauryz is celebrated. For the eastern peoples, Nauryz is the same as the New Year, because both holidays are considered the heralds of a new life, because "Nauryz" in Persian means nothing more than "New day".

The Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry welcomed Nauryz in its traditional style. On this day, more than 130 students who came to the lesson were treated to various treats and nauryz-kozhe, which is an indispensable attribute of the holiday, personifies prosperity, well-being and generosity. Each employee of the department brought the warmth of his hands, the kindness of the soul in nauryz-kozhe, which consisted of more than 7 cereals: wheat, beans, white and yellow corn, peas, rice, millet, pearl barley, as well as sour cream, ayran, salt and water . Such a combination of this dish symbolizes one of the seven life principles: growth, good luck, happiness, wealth, health, wisdom and patronage of heaven.

At the competition of national traditions, organized at the Academy at the level of faculties, the undergraduate of the department Bakhytkyzy Gaukhar won the nomination "The Best National Costume".

On the festive day, everyone wished each other health, stability and a peaceful sky over their heads, students of successful studies to become competent specialists in the developing pharmaceutical industry of our country, teachers of the Academy - creative success, high performance in everyday work to improve the image of our alma mater in educational and scientific sphere, peace and harmony in the soul.
