SKMA and the Nazarbayev Foundation in the Nobel decade: searches and discoveries of young scientists

Within two days - December 10-11, 2020 - within the walls of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, together with the Nazarbayev Foundation, the VII international scientific conference of young scientists and students "Prospective development of biology, medicine and pharmacy" was held.

The conference, despite the coronavirus pandemic, gathered over 150 speakers in two partitions and 14 sections.

Opening the conference, the rector, professor M.M. Rysbekov cordially congratulated the participants from Russia, Germany, Israel, Iran, India, Poland, Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan with the opportunity to discuss the results of scientific research at the university site. He called the youth the most advanced and aspiring, with intellectual and creative potential, capable of promoting science and education to a high-quality level.

Asfendiyarova, Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty; DZ Mukhamedzhanov, resident-infectious disease specialist, 2nd year of study, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Shymkent.

On December 11, the results of the scientific conference were summed up. As the organizers noted, from universities and research institutes, as seven years ago, the leaders are: Sechenov First State Medical University (Russia), Beheshti University (Iran), National Pharmaceutical University (Ukraine), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Gumilyov University, Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Uzbekistan), Institute of Toxicology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of St. Petersburg (Russia) and others.

Vice-rectors, professors M.M. Esirkepov and B.K. Nurmashev, presenting the winners with diplomas and valuable gifts, thanked everyone for the meaningful speeches, wished the promotion of joint projects that are associated with the search and discoveries, small and large, and the first step in this direction is already made.

Articles and abstracts sent to the forum will be published in the scientific journal "Bulletin of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy". The electronic version of the journal will be post on the academy website.

According to preliminary data, the conference received over three hundred articles and abstracts.

All participants received certificates.
