SKMA and SHAHID BEHESHTI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (Tehran, Iran): young scientists about cooperation, educational and new scientific developments

Yesterday, a meeting with a well-known professor of the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science (SHAHID BEHESHTI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, Iran) took place in the small meeting room of the SKMA.
Residents, postgraduates, doctoral students, as well as young scientists of the Academy were interested in the educational and research programs of one of the largest universities in Iran, with which SKMA has large bilateral ties, established since 2014 both in medicine and pharmacy.

Visiting professor from Iran spoke about the ongoing research in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of coronavirus infection in the country, about cooperation with scientists from India, Pakistan, Japan, Russia, about the study of the human genome, the use of drugs for the treatment of Covid-19, medicinal plants growing in Iran, about residency and master's degree programs, doctoral studies.
Mardani Dashti Masoud Gholamhossein answered the questions of students, invited talented scientists to the medical university for internships and academic mobility, in particular.
Mardani Dashti Masoud Gholamhossein is one of Iran's leading infectious disease scientists, a founding Board member of the Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine Research Center, editor-in-Chief of one of the official publications of the Research Center the Iranian Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases (ICID), Professor of Infectious Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine of the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran.

The conversation was attended by: Head of the Department of scientific and clinical work, PhD doctoral and master's programs Alikhan Zhaksylyk, Head of the Department of infectious diseases, professor Gulzhan Abuova, editor of the scientific journal Raikhan Shaimerdenova and others.
The aim of the meeting was to deepen strong ties, educational activities and joint new scientific developments on Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever, brucellosis, influenza and vaccination, coronavirus infection and vaccination against coronavirus infection.
