SKMA and Bundan Hospital of Seoul National University (South Korea): there are prerequisites for long-term cooperation

A few days ago, the Academy administration met with Sergey Kim, a representative of the Department for External Relations of the International Medical Center of Seoul National University (South Korea).
Professor S.Kim introduced the history of the Bundan Hospital, which has two branches, the first in 2003 was digitized completely. In 2013, with the opening of the new building, the second digitized version was launched, which made it possible to quickly adapt to the latest medical developments and medical services. In 2016, Bundan Hospital invites the world's leading scientists to open an Innovative Research Park, and in 2019 – a Biomedical Research Institute.

The hospital belongs to the class of "Educational, multidisciplinary and highly specialized", has a regional emergency medical center. Educational programs on internship and residency are conducted on the basis of the university. There are also favorable conditions for scientific research.

Rector of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Professor Myrzabek Rysbekov shared information about the university, as well as about patient-oriented training, the construction of a multidisciplinary university clinic with 800 beds and a clinical diagnostic center for 700 visits per shift. He also briefly familiarized with the agreements on cooperation with partner universities, academic mobility, practical training by students of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the CIS countries.
The meeting was attended by: Vice-chancellors Zh.S. Seitzhanova, M.U. Anartayeva, M.M. Yessirkepov, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Zh.I. Sagtaganov, Head of the Department A.A. Zhaksylyk, Chief Accountant D.A. Baimbetova, etc.
The sides noted the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education and science.
