Seminar «Вопросы Доказательной медицины: от теории к практике»

On April 22, 2019, the Department of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy together with the Department of Dentistry held a seminar: "Questions of Evidence-Based Medicine: From Theory to Practice," the speaker of this event was doctor of medical sciences, master of health, a member of the School of Public Jerusalem State University of Israel Dr. Alexander Haimov.

The seminar was attended by the faculty of clinical departments of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, masters, residents of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy. 

The participants of the seminar were familiarized with the latest international data on the tools of evidence-based medicine, the experience of Israeli doctors on the principles of evidence-based medicine, highlighted the issues of medical errors and medical negligence, patient-oriented technologies, clinical audit, critical analysis and evaluation of studies, correct formulation of the clinical issue, the rationale for making decisions regarding medical interventions. The seminar was held in an interactive, creative atmosphere, discussions, questions and answers of the audience. Prospects for further international cooperation between the Jerusalem Medical University and the SKMA were identified.
