Seminar on the topic «Civil rights and human freedoms»

In order to form the legal culture of students, develop civil legal culture, and form legal competence, a seminar on the topic “Civil Rights and Human Freedoms” was held at the Department of “History of Kazakhstan and Social Disciplines”. The event took place as part of the celebration of International Human Rights Day. A lot depends on improving legal literacy. The more you know about your rights, the more freely you will be able to exercise them. Therefore, during the seminar, acting associate professor Aidarbekova G.S. introduced students to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Declaration of Human Rights, the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other international documents in the field of human rights protection. 1st year students learned about the existing system of human rights protection. Carrying out such events fosters civic responsibility and self-esteem, respect for the rights of other people.
