Seminar for young scientists and researchers:“Comprehensive search of scientific information in databases for dissertation design ”
On July 18, the Academy hosted a seminar on “Comprehensive search of scientific information in databases for the design of dissertation works”. The event was opened by the first vice-rector Marlen Mahmudovich Yesirkepov, welcoming the participants and expressing recognition of their desire to improve the skills in searching and analyzing scientific information.
The lecturer at the seminar was Armen Yurievich Gasparyan, MD, Associate Professor,
researcher at the University of Birmingham Training Center, UK, Professor Emeritus at the South Korean Medical University of Constitutional Medicine, and Member of the World Association of Medical Editors. He is also an expert reviewer for the Scopus database, a section editor for the Journal of Korean Medical Science, and a scientific advisor for the Central Asian Journal of Medical Hypotheses and Ethics.
The event brought together master's students, doctoral students and young scientists interested in developing their professional competencies and improving the quality of scientific research.
At the end of the seminar, many participants expressed high value of the knowledge gained and plan to actively apply the learned methods in their scientific work. Some also suggested ideas for future activities, including a more in-depth study of selected databases and the organization of practical workshops.
