Scientific and practical Olympiad "Infections Stars" at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology

On 11/29/2023, the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology held a scientific and practical Olympiad "Infections Stars" among 4th year students of the specialty "General Medicine". Olympiad took place in several stages: Familiarization of the emblem and the name of the team (orally and video); Answers commands for situational tasks; Questions for team captains in a playful way (questions on infectious diseases with answer options on the screen); Knowledge tree (the team chooses a sticker where nosology is written, which they answer in writing in stickers and attach to a paper tree); Questions from jury members; Free competition (each team they show their performances).

In this Olympiad, the jury members were: Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenerology, Professor G.N. Abuova, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases of NAO "MUA", MD, Professor Sh.A. Kulzhanova (academic mobility), Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Deramtovenerology PhD F.A. Berdalieva, Head teacher of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Deramtovenerology L.L. Sarypbekova, resident 1- year of study Turganbek A. It is worth noting that in order for the assessment to be objective, the jury members cannot include assistants who taught these groups.

Students actively participated in all stages of the competition, active students, the smartest captain of the team were marked and awarded with a certificate and prizes, and prizes were distributed among the teams. It is worth noting that this Olympiad "Infections Stars" is held regularly between bachelors at the department, which provides additional motivation for students to study infectious diseases.
