The program of the first day was intense, which raised issues and ways of treating epilepsy both in Turkey and in Kazakhstan. Foreign guests participated in the analysis of clinical cases in order to help practicing neuropathologists of medical institutions and clinics in Shymkent and the Turkestan region to more successfully diagnose and more correctly prescribe medication, based on the condition of both adult and pediatric patients. With accessibility and the first signs of the disease, which should be addressed first of all by parents and relatives of patients, it is likely to achieve results, albeit insignificant at first, but alleviating the suffering of patients from seizures.
So, with the right selection of drugs, familiarization with the patient's medical history from the debut, that is, the onset of the disease, and before the first visit to polyclinics and medical institutions, it is possible to achieve shifts as a result of prescribing the necessary drugs. Undoubtedly, it is necessary to conduct MRI, ultrasound, CT. It is also important to understand why convulsions occur, to give the patients themselves the opportunity, after numerous conversations in a benevolent manner, to give up any habits that worsen their condition, and, of course, with long-term use of drugs. On the example of clinical cases, they explained how the patient can recover and improve the quality of life.
There are also severe cases of the disease, when medicine is powerless.
