SCEINCE AND PRACTICE - FOR PEOPLE’S SERVICE

During two days the scientific society of Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan took part in international scientific-practical conference “Innovative achievements in modern pharmacy and medicine”, initiated by South - Kazakhstan State Pharmaceutical Academy within celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It has become a tradition to hold the largest event within the walls of South - Kazakhstan State Pharmaceutical Academy in spring. Conference moderator is M.U. Anartayeva, Pro - rector, MD.

As it was noted by the speakers - K.T. Mirzaakhmedova, a doctoral student of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute (Uzbekistan); D.A. Konovalov, Vice-Director of Pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor (Russia); R.S. Bekturganov, Director of Shymkent Medical Institute IKTU named after Kh.A. Yassavi, MD, Professor; S.U. Kamenova, the Head of the Department in KazNMU named after Asfendiyarov, MD, Professor; G.B. Kabrakhmanova, the Head of the Department of Neurology in West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after Marat Ospanov, MD, Professor and others – that it was important to implement innovations and new achievements and developments aimed at preserving health of the population.

Integration in economy established by the Heads of States allows conference participants to get closer, to coordinate efforts for new drugs producing, growing in the post-Soviet space, to study their properties, safety and efficacy.

More than two hundred articles and abstracts were received from different parts of Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, representing the following Departments: Pharmacognosy and Drug Technology of Pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute, Pharmaceutical chemistry with the courses of analytical and toxicological chemistry, Pharmacology of Bashkir State Medical University; Pharmacology and Physiology of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, the departments of National Examination Center of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Institute of Plant substances chemistry named after Academician S.Yu. Yunusov of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences, Azerbaijan State Institute of Advanced Medical Studies named after A. Aliyev, Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, laboratory of the synthesis of biologically active substances of the Institute of Organic Synthesis and Coal Chemistry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laboratory of NMR spectroscopy engineering profile of Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, IKTU named after Kh.A. Yassavi, the Departments of Astana Medical University, KazNMU named after Asfendiyarov, Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education and others.

The second day of the conference was devoted to the anniversary of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychology of SKSPhA that is headed by Professor G.A. Duschanova since the day of its establishment. The work of the section “Actual problems of diagnosis and treatment of nervous system diseases” was held in hotel “Rixos-Khadisa Shymkent”, it was headed by B.K. Nurmashev, Pro-rector for scientific and clinical work. Neurologists discussed cognitive abnormality in patients with risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, transient ischemic attacks, strokes, differential diagnosis of multiocular sclerosis.

It was published a collection in two volumes as a result of this conference. All participants of international conference received certificates.
