ROUND TABLE «PARTNERSHIP OF UNIVERSITIES AND EMPLOYERS IN THE TRAINING OF NURSING SPECIALISTS»

On March 4, 2021, JSC "South Kazakhstan Medical Academy" hosted an online round table on the topic: "Partnership of universities and employers in the training of nursing specialists".

The event was attended by representatives of medical organizations of the city of Shymkent: Regional Hospital, city clinical hospital №1, oncological dispensary, Regional Children's Hospital, city polyclinics № 3, 7, 13, "Ainury", Shymkent Higher Medical College. The moderator of the round table was Anartaeva Maria Ulasbekovna, Vice-rector for Educational and Upbringing workof JSC "SKMA", Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.

The round table program included the following reports:

1. Head of the training and methodological center Ibragimova A. G.: "From the national qualifications framework to the learning outcomes»

2. Chairman of the Committee of educational programs «Nursing» Seidakhmetova A. A. «Improvement of nursing education»

3. Director of the medical college Kushkarova A.M. «Training of nurses at the college level, applied bachelor's degree».

During the meeting, the issues of improving the educational program for training nursing specialists of various levels, preparing graduates for professional activities, and reforming nursing were discussed. Representatives of employers made proposals: Sultanov M. A. - Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Shymkent Higher Medical College, Zhapabaeva K. E. - chief nurse of the Regional Clinical Hospital, senior nurses of medical organizations.

As a result of the round table, a resolution was adopted.
