Round table on the topic “Gaming addiction is not entertainment, but a dangerous disease”

05/2/2024, senior lecturer of the department “History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines” Ibraimova A.Zh. in the city universal library named after A.S. Pushkina held a round table on the topic “Gaming addiction is not entertainment, but a dangerous disease.”
Goal: developing skills of responsible behavior in favor of one’s health, promoting students’ awareness of their values.
Gaming addiction and the stages of its development were discussed, as well as at what point the addiction begins and what symptoms a person with a gaming addiction exhibits.
Director of the Psychological Center "Ai-Aru" Abdrakhmanova Zulipa, with the participation of students of this problem, who may be 0-1.5 years old, psychosis, schizophrenia, manic-depressive psychosis, bulimia, drug addiction, alcoholism, etc. type of return dependency values; Anal type of addiction, such as anorexia, melancholia, paranoia, borderline-intermediate disorders, psychopathology at the age of 1.5-3 years; Obsessive-compulsive syndrome, neuroses, various disorders at the age of 3-6 years, anal form of dependence on it, detailed information about the stages of development of the mental apparatus.
At the end of the meeting, the students shared their impressions of the information received and told what conclusions they had drawn for themselves, and received answers to all their questions on this topic.
