Psychological training seminar on the topic “Influence of various religious movements on youth”

On November 11, 2016 in South Kazakhstan state pharmaceutical academy the Department of social sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Department of "Hygiene-1 and epidemiology" conducted a psychological training seminar on the theme: "The influence of various religious movements on youth".

The goal of a psychological seminar: education of patriotism and morality of the future generation, since the youth are the future of Kazakhstan.

Y. K. Myrzaliyeva, Ph. D (in historical sciences), acting associate Professor, stating the goal and relevance of the seminar, said that today's youth are exposed to different movements and the only solution to this situation is the family and education of children by parents such national values as respect for elders, be honest and sincere, to pay attention to the questions of honor and conscience, courtesy and good manners; noted the great responsibility that parents have and should be aware of when raising their children.

In order to assist future young people there were invited theologian-specialists of "Center for the study of religious issues" of religious affairs management in SKR Gaziz Appazov and Bauyrzhan Zamankhanov. Gaziz A. outlined about the spread of various religious movements in Kazakhstan and their negative impact on youth. He noted that currently in Kazakhstan it is necessary to further study of traditional Islam, and for this purpose, ranging from school and in the family, parents should continuously promote the values of the Islamic religion and urged to pay attention to the need for systematic introduction of it into school curriculum. In connection with this considered issue Gaziz Appazov suggested that many institutions of Kazakhstan, including schools, colleges, institutions, should establish a close relationship between themselves and carry out agitation campaign among young people exposed to other movements.

The students received answers to these and other interesting and stirring them for a long time issues, and also learned a lot about the Islamic religion.

Teaching staff of the Department, organized this seminar, L.S.Mailybayeva, Ph. D (in pedagogical sciences), acting associate Professor; Y. K. Myrzaliyeva, Ph. D (in historical sciences), acting associate Professor; senior lecturer Z. Sh. Orazymbetova expressed their opinion and shared religious information with students. In particular, Mailybaeva L. S. noted the importance of the values and benefits of Islam in the upbringing of generations, the relationship of Sharia laws to the canons of the kazakh national traditions that have educational value and is relevant even in our time.
