PRODUCTION PRACTICE AT YNTYMAK BASE

From June 17 to June 28, 2024, 3rd year students of the educational program “Pharmacy” and 2nd year students of the accelerated educational program “Pharmacy” completed practical training in “Pharmacognosy” at the Yntymak base.

The main goal of industrial practice is to consolidate and improve the theoretical knowledge acquired by students in the lecture-practical course, acquire skills and practical skills on cultivation, procurement of medicinal plant raw materials, taking into account the rational use and reproduction of natural resources, mastering the basic techniques of cultivating medicinal plants.

From the first days of practice, students familiarized with the safety rules, the program and schedule of practice.

During the internship, students learned how to cultivate, care for medicinal plants according to the principles of good cultivation practice and the collection of GACP.

During the practice, students became familiar with the types of medicinal plants in the Yntymak database and created a floristic list of medicinal plants. They combined their theoretical knowledge with practice in herbarization, drying and storage of collected medicinal plant materials.
