"Problems of surgical dentistry"

Under this heading, on December 02, 2022, a student conference was held, which was organized by the Department of Surgical and Orthopedic Dentistry of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and the Department of Diseases and Injuries of the Maxillofacial Region of the Tashkent State Dental Institute.

Head of the Department "Diseases and injuries of the maxillofacial region" of TSSI, MD, Professor Abdullaev Sharif Yuldashevich. Associate Professor of the Department "Diseases and injuries of the maxillofacial region" K.M.N. Yusupova Dildora Zukhriddinovna, teaching staff of the department and students of TSSI. Head of the Department of Surgical and Orthopedic Dentistry, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor Shukparov Asylbek Bayadilovich and faculty of the Department. Students of 6,5,4,3 courses in the educational program "Dentistry".

In his welcoming speech, the first vice-rector, Professor Yesirkepov Marlen Makhmudovich wished the conference participants success in their work and scientific research, highlighted the state of affairs in the science of our countries and expressed hope that the number of scientific publications will grow.

The head of the department "Diseases and injuries of the maxillofacial region" of TSSI, MD, Professor Abdullaev Sharif Yuldashevich welcomed the participants of the conference, provided a clinical case "Possible errors and complications at all stages of treatment"

Interesting were the reports of students on the topics "Modern aspects of inflammatory diseases and injuries of the maxillofacial region.", "Features, criteria differential diagnosis of phlegmon of cellular spaces of the maxillofacial region".
The students listened with interest to the reports, exchanged opinions and asked questions of interest to them.

It is worth emphasizing the report of associate Professor K.M.N. Yusupova Dildora Zukhriddinovna "New methods of treatment and prevention of postoperative scars of the maxillofacial region."

Ph.D., Acting associate Professor Shukparov Asylbek Bayadilovich, Head of the Department of Surgical and Orthopedic Dentistry, focused on the state, problems, prospects of the service of surgery of the maxillofacial region of Southern Kazakhstan.

At the conference, the participants shared their views on the development of long-term partnership, the goals and objectives of bilateral cooperation. We have outlined the next activities in the field of academic mobility between universities.
