PRIORITY DIRECTIONS OF PHARMACEUTICAL AND CHEMICAL-TOXICOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF DRUGS

On December 9-10 this year, the Science Council under the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation and the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy held the VIII International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students «Prospects for the Development of Biology, Medicine and Pharmacy». The conference has generated great interest in universities and higher educational institutions of the CIS countries and far abroad.

The staff of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry organized the work of the sectional meeting «Priority areas of pharmaceutical and chemical-toxicological analysis of drugs». The conference was attended by young scientists from universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and our partners: Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (Tehran, Iran), Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (Shiraz, Iran), Sechenov University (Moscow, RF), National University of Pharmacy (Kharkiv, Ukraine), Bashkir State Medical University (Ufa, RF), Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Tashkent, RUz) Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, RF), Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy (Perm, RF), Tajik State Medical University (Dushanbe, Tajikistan), Tajik National University (Dushanbe, Tajikistan), Branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University (Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan), I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz state medical academy (Bishkek, RK), Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas" (Bishkek, RK), Pharmacokinetics Laboratories of the Center for Personalized Medicine named after I.V. Davydovsky, Department of Health (Moscow, RF), Syrdarya branch of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Forensic Medicine (Gulistan, RUz).

Mariyam Kabiri, Researcher, S. Beheshti Medical University, spoke at the plenary session with a report «Potential inhibitors of the basic protease Sars-Cov-2 and modulators of the arachidonic acid pathway: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs against COVID-19». The report aroused great interest in the relevance in the field of search and creation of effective drugs for COVID-19.

At the sectional session, undergraduates, doctoral students and students from partner universities spoke on topical issues in the field of ensuring the effectiveness, quality and safety of medicines. The reports were accompanied by a heated discussion, each speaker at a high level presented the results of his own research work.

Following the results of the conference, the participants were awarded certificates, and the winners - diplomas and mementos. Diplomas were awarded to students of the Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov M. Tokareva and the School of Pharmacy of the Medical University named after Sh. Beheshti Mesba M.

The participants and guests of the conference thanked the organizers for the excellent organization and the opportunity to communicate, exchange views.
