Prevention of measles

Оn January 30, 2019, in connection with the spread of measles in the city of Shymkent information and explanatory work was organized with first course students from India in the specialty "General medicine", on the topic of "Prevention of Measles" by the staff of Hygiene and Epidemiology department of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, with participation of the vice rector for scientific and clinical work Nurmashev B.K., joint with the main-specialist of the department of epidemiology, Protection Directorate of Public Health of the Al-Farabi district Agaydarova R.S. and department of children and teenagers Montayeva A.K., the assistant of department of infectious diseases and a dermatovenereology Apsattarova L.E., Shalabayev S. and Azhikhan S.. At the meeting were considered questions of etiology, epidemiology and prevention of measles. Sanitary – awareness education was carried out in the form of lecture material in English (Baykonsov L.O.) and interviews (question-answer) by the staff of department infectious and the dermatovenerological diseases.
