Participation in the 2nd international conference “One Belt, One Road”

On May 16-18, 2024, as part of a delegation from Kazakhstan, at the invitation of the Chinese Pharmaceutical University (CPU), Head of the Department of OMPhB, Doctor of Pharmacy, Professor Shertayeva K.D. and Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapy and Clinical Pharmacology of SKMA Toxanbayeva Zh.S. took part in the 2nd International Conference «One Belt - One Road» on cooperation and integration of the pharmaceutical industry, education and applied medicine, which took place in Nanjing (China).
Scientists and specialists of the pharmaceutical industry from Kazakhstan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Ghana, Pakistan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Russia, Mongolia and 28 other countries were invited to the conference in order to exchange ideas on cooperation in pharmaceuticals within the framework of the «One Belt, One Road» project.
The participants and guests of the conference presented their own research data and participated in discussions on the following topics:
- Discovery and development of natural products;
- Development of innovative international pharmaceutical talents;
- Integration of industry scientific circles, scientific research and applied programs.

At the end of the conference, the organizers organized tours of the university, university clinics, laboratories and the pharmaceutical museum.
