Opportunities and prospects for the implementation of WorldSkills standards in the process of training pharmaceutical personnel

On September 22 of this year, the teaching staff of SKMA took part in the All-Russian Conference with international participation "Opportunities and prospects for the implementation of WorldSkills standards in the process of training pharmaceutical personnel", organized by the Institute of Pharmacy by A.P. Nelyubin of the First Moscow State Medical University by I. M. Sechenov.

The purpose of the conference is to develop a system of independent assessment of the quality of practical training of students.
The forum discussed such topical issues of training pharmaceutical personnel of middle and senior levels as:

•  Implementation of elements of the WorldSkills standards in the educational process of training pharmacists and pharmacists.
•  Independent assessment of the quality of practical training of students in the formation of a professional trajectory of a pharmaceutical specialist.
•  Competence development Pharmaceuticals in modern conditions.
•  Demonstration exam in pharmaceutical education as a form of student attestation.
•  Opportunities to develop new pharmaceutical specialist competencies for inclusion in professional skills competitions according to WorldSkills standards.

Russian higher and secondary pharmaceutical education has some experience in holding championships, olympiads, professional skills competitions according to WorldSkills standards. The advantages of such events are undeniable, both for educational institutions and students, and for employers, the most important of which is the prospect of training competent specialists for the pharmaceutical industry that meet modern labor market requirements.
