Department of Kazakh, Russian and Latin languages of SKMA in September with the participation of 1st year students held an hour of poetry and expressive reading "Abai is a wise man, Abai is a genius poet of Kazakhs", dedicated to the significant date "10 August - Abai's Day".
Abai Kunanbayev is a Kazakh poet, philosopher, musician, national enlightener, public figure, founder of Kazakh written literature and literary language. Abay comprehensively studied eastern and western culture to contribute to the enlightenment of the people, and managed to show the basics of this culture to his people.
The poems of the remarkable Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev reflect the being, life, outlook, character, soul, religion, mentality, language and spirit of the people. Immortal thoughts of Abai Kunanbayev can teach a lot to a person who thinks over his life, looking for its meaning and ways of self-realisation.
Thus, during the event students Makpal Bekbula, Kumir Kenzhekhan, Karakat Abutamil, Bekture Kudiyarkhanovich, Karakat Kamal, Nursultan Ashirbai, Nurila Oralbek, Yesimkhan Kemeshov, Nurila Daumbet, Magzhan Myrzakeldy, Arai Musakhan, Nurai Ashken, Aynaz Abutalip - more deeply familiarised themselves with the poetic creativity of the rich spiritual heritage of our unique poet Abai Kunanbaev.
